At the heart of our centre‑based cycling holidays are two elegant properties set in the Loire Valley countryside.
Whether you join us for a Loire Discovery Cycling Tour or a Loire Valley Cycling Break, you can choose to stay at our long‑established base, Le Gué de Ray, or at La Touche, newly introduced for 2026.
Both offer the ease of unpacking once, settling in, and enjoying the comfort of a welcoming home from home while you explore the region’s landscapes, châteaux and villages at your own pace.
Whichever accommodation you choose, the bike routes and destinations are the same.
Le Gué de Ray – Loire Valley Accommodation
Le Gué de Ray is a graceful 19th‑century farmstead dating back to 1830, where the original farmhouse and a beautifully converted barn come together to offer refined, boutique accommodation in the Loire Valley
The rooms are individually decorated, with a choice of double and twin bedrooms as well as spacious suites for groups of three.
Life at Le Gué de Ray feels more like staying in a well appointed country home than a traditional hotel. Guests are welcome to relax in the comfortable sitting rooms, make use of the guest kitchen and complimentary laundry facilities, and enjoy hot and cold drinks whenever they wish.
Set within an acre of peaceful grounds, the property offers plenty of quiet corners to unwind. You can stretch out beside the solar‑heated swimming pool or ease tired muscles in the outdoor spa after a day exploring the Loire by bike.

‘La Touche’ – A touch of luxury for 2026
La Touche is an elegant 17th‑century estate, newly added to our collection to meet growing demand.
Thoughtfully restored to preserve its heritage while offering a refined level of comfort. Five beautifully finished properties encircle the estate, creating a discreet and harmonious setting for up to 12 guests. The cottages offer twin or double bedrooms with bathrooms, living rooms, kitchens and private terraces, ensuring a calm and unhurried stay.
The grounds offer a sense of gentle indulgence: a heated swimming pool, sheltered private terraces, and a spacious barn that serves as a welcoming bar and dining room where hot and cold refreshments are always available.
Just like Le Gué de Ray, La Touche offers complimentary laundry facilities and secure bike storage.
