Cycling to Lac de Rille

Cycling Holiday France - Cycle Route 25
Easy navigation

The amazing March weather in France continues so we took a quick cycle ride around one of our favourite local cycle routes – a circular route cycling to Lac de Rille with its nature reserve.

Its’s a really rural route, just small hamlets, apple orchards, pine forests and farms.  We covered just under 3okms with little in the way of traffic.  Bit of a headwind in places, but the wind was warm – which is bizarre for this time of year.

The general temperature was around 21c – we’re making the most of it while it lasts.  If the trees had their leaves on you would think it was July.  First guests of the year in a week’s time so let’s hope the good weather continues.
