Le Gué de Ray
The home of Loire Life Cycling Holidays
The perfect Loire Valley accommodation awaits you when you join us on our Loire Discovery Cycling Tours.
At the heart of our unique centre based approach to cycle tours is Le Gué de Ray, a French farmstead dating back to 1830. The original farmhouse and a beautifully converted barn together provide high quality, boutique Loire Valley accommodation. If you’re looking for somewhere to unpack, relax and enjoy all the comforts of home then this is the perfect place.
We look forward to welcoming you!
Loire Valley Accommodation – Cycling Holidays at ‘Le Gué de Ray’
Le Gué de Ray is set in an idyllic Loire Valley location – surrounded by rural France and miles of empty roads criss-crossing the beautiful French countryside!
We have created boutique accommodation with a choice of individually decorated double and twin bedrooms and a suite for groups of three people.
Unlike a hotel this is your home from home – so make use of the comfortable salon, the complimentary laundry facilities and the guest kitchen. Hot and cold drinks are available – just help yourself.
Gué de Ray is set in one acre of grounds, so you’ll find it easy to find a quiet terrace to relax. Sun bathe by the solar-heated swimming pool or relax those tired muscles in the out door spa!
There is plenty of secure storage for those who bring their own bikes and a fully equipped bike workshop.
So why book a french cycling holiday where you have to pack and unpack everyday? We have everything you need – great Loire Valley accommodation and great Loire Valley cycling holidays!

We felt as though we were staying with good friends rather than being paying customers. Gue de Ray proved to be a home away from home – the facilities were first class – in short, we thought we’d died and gone to heaven!Lou & John, Brisbane, Australia
