New Loire Valley Cycling Routes for our Cycling Holidays in France
2015 Loire Valley Cycling Holidays start
We’ve just welcomed our first guests for the 2015 Loire Valley Cycling season and haven’t they been lucky with the weather! Last week it was cold, wet and grey with temperatures averaging 13c/14c. This week Summer has rocked up early, barging Spring out of the way. Yesterday for instance we ended up at 25c at 3pm – and I haven’t even got the swimming pool opened yet. It’s layered clothing for cycling, start with plenty and by the end of the day you are down to a T Shirt – quite bizarre!
New Loire Valley Cycling Routes
With the new season comes new Loire Valley cycling routes – many created by the local council and signed throughout. As quick as the cycle route signs go up we do our best to incorporate the new bike route into our Loire Valley cycling holidays.
This is the latest of the Loire Valley cycling routes that we have added to our portfolio of Spring Classic cycle rides, where you create your own cycling adventure here in the Loire Valley France. This bike route enables you to cycle a 35kms circular route and include a great mid way stopping point to grab lunch. We regularly cycle the route – it’s flat, well signed and with plenty of interest.
The Bouff’tard restaurant in Hommes is a welcome half way stop with quality food and a welcoming atmosphere. A great value traditional French lunch can be had for €12.50. Three courses with your choice of red or rose wine.
Also incorporated into the route are two lakes, a nature reserve and a Chateau – so it can be a really full day – and not just for your stomach!
So if you have already booked to join us on a Loire Valley Spring Classic in 2015, this could be an ideal new Loire Valley cycling route for you to try. If you haven’t booked – why not? You’re running out of time and we’re running out of space!
