Loire Life Cycling Holidays – About Us
Welcome to Loire Life Cycling Holidays in France and thanks for spending time looking at what we offer here in the Loire Valley France.
We’re husband and wife team Alison and Jon and we moved to France from the United Kingdom back in 2007 seeking adventure and a new lifestyle.
Alison worked for an international accountancy firm, while Jon spent his time with computers in financial services. But enough of the past, for both of us those days are a distant memory!
Centre-based Cycling Holidays in France
We caught the cycling bug shortly after moving here and spotted a gap in the cycling holiday market.
Most cycling holidays in France involve travelling from hotel to hotel, put together by companies based far away using local reps in the area.
We decided to develop a centre-based cycling holiday concept – guests would stay in one location for the entire holiday, but the routes would be designed to ensure variety of terrain, sights and experiences.
Growing family and cycling holiday business
Roll on twelve years and we’ve added a beautiful daughter to our family. Ruby is now 8, enjoys her cycling and welcoming guests!
The business has developed and we now run a fleet of 30 bikes including road and an ever increasing number of electric models.
In addition to the popular Loire Valley Discovery Cycling Tour
we also offer short breaks, bespoke cycling holidays for groups, options for road cyclists and mountain bikers and have a selection of self-catered cottages for something completely different.
Keeping our cycling in France fun and personal
Making sure we keep it fun and that we keep the enthusiasm on which it’s all built is vitally important to us.
We care about providing a memorable cycling holiday in France. With some guests on their third or fourth trips to us, we think that’s exactly what we do!
