An idylic location for a Loire Valley cycling holiday.  Easily accessible from anywhere in the world, yet deep in the heart of the Loire Valley.   

 

Nestled amongst forest, lakes and orchards our cycling base at ‘Gue de Ray’ provides a relaxing retreat and the perfect base from which to cycle.  We are 15kms north of the wine town of Bourgueil, 20kms north-west of Saumur and on the edge of the Regional Park of Anjou-Touraine.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are surrounded by undulating farmland, apple orchards, vineyards,  lakes, managed forest and ancient woods.  Around every corner there are peaceful hamlets, hidden chateaux, ancient farms and opportunities for seeing the abundant wildlife, including deer and wild boar.
