Cycling to Bourgueil
It’s only mid March but the weather here in France is glorious – sunny and warm and perfect for cycling. Our cycling holidays in France visit Bourgueil – a Loire Valley town famous for its red wines.
Over the winter the tourism folks have been very busy revamping all of the local cycle routes. We now have an integrated set of routes across the whole region – they’ve even signposted some of the (previously unsigned) routes we created specially for our cycling holidays.
So today we popped out for our first cycle in ages (since Nice way back in October!) and covered 45kms around Bourgueil, on one of the new marked routes. Enjoy the photos – and why not come and experience the cycling in our part of France for yourself?
