Route maps and step by step directions

You don’t need to be a great map reader to follow our routes.  We will provide you with a map of the route and supporting directions to assist when necessary.  Wherever possible we make use of existing marked cycle-ways and keep the complexity of the route to a minimum so you can relax and enjoy the scenery.  At the start of each day we go through the route with you to make it even easier.

Collections and ‘Springboards’

On two of the week’s cycle tours we provide a pick up from the route finish point and bring you back to base in our mini-bus.  Where necessary, we have also taken clients out in the morning by car and dropped them off at a point further along a day’s route - we call it a ‘springboard’ and it enables a route to be shortened if needs be.  In the event of really poor weather we can also provide a pick up and bring you back to base.  We have been known to do this and drop into a winery on the route back!

Bike Maintenance

If you have hired your bike, then all through the week we ensure that it is in full working order and comfortable.  This extends to swapping around saddles until you find one that’s just right!   If you have brought your own bike, then you are more than welcome to use the bike stands and tools that we have available.

En-route bike replacement and repair

If you have a puncture or a problem with your bike en-route and can’t fix it yourself then don’t worry.  Just call us and we are able to come out and fix the problem on the spot or bring out a replacement bike so you can continue your journey.
